The folks at Eclipse Engineering in California have been quick off the mark with the release of their “OpenCL Device Test” application on Google Play. The app lists the OpenCL processing characteristics of the connected OpenCL-compliant device. This includes the device’s memory sizes, work-item/work-group sizes, and image processing support. The application is currently only functional for devices with ARM’s Mali GPU (the Nexus 10). Eclipse Engineering specializes in developing Eclipse-based editors (text-based and graphic), Rich Client Platform applications, and graphical display packages of all shapes and sizes.
